Imaginary out to play
This afternoon we had our share in joining THE WAY BACK HOME proudly presented by iTheatre from 12 to 20 September. Many families are welcomed to the newly renovated Alliance Française Theatre today for a fascinating adventure with the boy and his alien friend in finding their way back home.
An inter-galactic adventure tale about a boy who finds a plane in his cupboard. He flies higher and higher until he lands on the moon. Frightened, lost and alone, how will he find his way back home? This exciting new production for the whole family has been created by the team behind the hit shows, How To Catch A Star and Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus.
We looked forward to this performance ever since our last review of iTheatre’s applauding show, Jewel in the tale .
THE WAY BACK HOME didn’t failed us and brought much laughter, though we enjoy performance with local touch, but their Australian accent and live sang music kept our little 1 year toddler’s attention locked to the stage for a fair while.
Without spoiling the trailer, this performance brought back memories of innocent childhood days where child play does not come from technology devices but pure imagination. Using absolutely anything around us we could fuel our little fantasy of childhood dreams liked landing on the moon or escaping from dragons.
The boy who found an aeroplane in his cardboard not only discover his childhood dreams but gave the adults or kids a chance to go back into time on how simple things can make us contented with this world.
Its a performance not to be miss! So if you want to experience this pacy adventure with the boy and his martian friend, tickets are still available at Sistic till 20 Sept! Stay tune for more itheatre’s children performance updates from us!
