Traveling with kids, neighboring countries are the best ones to start with. We have been quite lucky to have the privilege to go on work trips with our boys, from the nearby Bintan, Batam, Kuala Lumpur, to Bangkok Flights and even Taiwan this year! For a few months of the second half of the year, we made no plans for an overseas trip until recently, my husband and I had a conversation that maybe its time for a vacay soon!

Among our friends, we heard about the friendliness of the city of angels for families with kids, thus I went on a research mode to find out a few family friendly hotels highly recommended by travelers! Holiday Inn Bangkok

Large family suites with separate rooms and bunk beds for kids. Looks like they have a wonderful location as it’s just a stone throw away from the Skytrain, Central World, Thailand’s largest aquarium (in Siam Paragon mall), Platinum malls are all within a short walk on a covered footbridge. It has a fitness center, a great swimming pool, free wifi, and free breakfast. Being one of the best value hotels in Bangkok, they boost of not only kids friendly but a kids preferred hotel because kids stay and eat for free! Kids menu are also extended to the little VIPs. There is a children’s playground for younger guests.

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel

Featuring large luxurious rooms, huge beautiful pool, great restaurants with a family-friendly vibe. The convenient location in the center of the city, close to several shopping malls, and steps from a Skytrain station. Tour to Chinatown and Floating market can be arranged. Their Sunday brunch is raved to be one of the best in Bangkok. (This is formerly the Four Seasons Hotel). They also provide a shuttle service to Suvarnabhumi Airport with free wireless internet as well as an outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi. Younger guests are not forgotten as they get to receive their little kids’ bathrobe, toiletries, bedtime milk & cookies and a dedicated children menu. If anytime we ever need a babysitting service, such arrangement can be done within 24 hours notice. Importantly, the kids will get to bask in the fresh air while enjoying their time in the mini playground and pool!

What sets them apart from the other hotels is their variety of entertainment such as mini cultural adventures together with Mr. Tuk Tuk to seek out fun places while the parents take a break. 10 min walk will bring you to Central World Plaza and Lumpini Park. Bumrungrad International Hospital is a 12-minute drive away, while Suvarnabhumi International Airport is 25 km away.

Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort

Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort is a trendy hotel located in Bangkok and showcases unique views of Chao Phraya River. One of the best kid-friendly hotel in Bangkok with large rooms and several restaurants to chose from. The quiet location sits amid beautiful green grounds.

The environment around here is located in a quiet neighborhood but its a good chance for guests to discover the nearby Central world and Chao Phraya River.

Although it may seem like a true sanctuary away from the bustle of Bangkok, the famous Siam Paragon mall is just a short car ride away. For a comfortable night stay, the hotel’s grand deluxe two bedroom or three bedroom suite promises ample space for the brood. Kids will thank you for fun times at their playground with slides and swings!
