Who
The only one of the three Civil Service Clubs in Singapore (Club CSC @ Bukit Batok, Club CSC @ Tessensohn and Club CSC @ Changi) that offers premium accommodations for staycations. Refreshed CSC@Changi have tripled its original size that offers comprehensive villas/suites and a myriad of facilities catered to public and members. Gone are the days when CSC clubs kept its membership to only public officers. Now anyone gets to sign up for membership of $300 per year to enjoy member’s rate (while public officers get their fees at only $72 per year) for accommodation and usage of facilities liked the swimming pool, rooftop tennis court, BBQ pit and etc.
Where
Situated along the street of Netheravon Road, right opposite Changi Village Hotel. It is an interesting discovery amidst the Changi’s prominent cafes liked Chock Full of Beans, The Wine Company or Little Island cafe. Any time of the day you could get your delish local delights right down the road with convenient stores for BBQ stock ups and happy hours at night. Or if you just want to go with authentic local food, nasi lemak, seafood “zicha”, and ba chou mee are easily found at the charming Changi Village Food center at really affordable prices!
However, don’t miss out on the lovely restaurants within CSC@Changi, you might just be surprised by the good people at Meyer House Resturant and bar and Hornbill The poolside cafe operated by the same folks of The Costal Settlement actually have some fab dishes that personally we love to travel back to cover the whole menu!
Reactional Facilities
Compare to any other clubhouse, CSC@Changi has got its unique facilities liked a new glow-in-the-dark 20-lane bowling centre operated by Resort Bowl, fully equipped bicycle gym operated by The Facility by Swim Bike Run and even a manjong room near the housekeeping room by the lifts to the suites.
Since you are here for a staycation, why not step out to explore and sightsee with the pack. Head east to Changi Point Coastal Walk features stunning views of sunset and have a romantic stroll between the resort and the coastline at night for some quality time spent. Alternatively avid riders can hit the road along the 3.5 km Loyang Park Connector right outside of the Clubhouse to get on some riding thrills. For more adventure seekers, discover more water sports activities down at Changi Beach Park where Water-Venture (Changi) such as kayaking, sea rafting, abseiling, windsurfing and even power boating can be found within a few minutes of walking.
Accommodation

What we loved about here is that we are that one inch close to nature and can hang out together as a family – either to dip in the pool, play rounds of tennis at the rooftop, ferry ride to Pulau Ubin or ride bicycles by the park. It’s everyone’s perfect dream staycation to unwind and relax in a serene ambience without lashing on air tickets.

Superior Villa A | Total: 2 (non-sea view)
Be mind blown away by their double storey villa which comes with 3 bedrooms that can easily accommodate 12pax to a comprehensive array of facilities with some modern convenience during your stay – think wifi access and mio TV. Their 3 bedrooms are fabulous for sheltering big gatherings (max occupancy for 12 pax after 2300hours). Saying about comprehensive, you get all you need for these couple of days for an escape away with your family as their dining area are furnished with a standing refrigerator to microwave and Dolce Coffee machine! Though there are (Premium & Deluxe Villa) sea-view and (Superior Villa) non-sea view villas, but you will get better chance of booking the non-sea views villas as the sea-views villas are over-booked all the way to next year! To improve your experience, all villas are equipped with gas BBQ Pit perched at your doorstep and no fret of rain or shine there is a retractable canopy for a great outdoor grill time.

Family Suite/ Family Handicap (HCP) Suite | Total: 4 |Level 2
We are dreaming of a staycation trip to this lovely family suite to just unwind, chill and enjoy the facilities in CSC@Changi, and we did (Do check out our staycation review later) ! Thoughtfully curated with all the elderly friendly facilities from a ramp entering the suite to washrooms with assist bars; your senior family members are more than welcome to be a part of this staycation! There is even a huge balcony that offers a vast bird’s eye view of the gorgeous swimming pool spreading to the breezy Changi coastline. Other than hearing from the seabirds, expect the giant metal birds fly pass your roof every few mins, but noises are kept minimal with their uber-thick sliding doors. We couldn’t think of another awesome getaway suitable for the whole family with everything you might need in their living area, kitchenette and double bedrooms. Rather than chilling by the pool, don’t miss out on the great ample space at the balcony area equipped with cozy sun-deck sofas, just remember to bring along mossie patches for the little ones!

Deluxe Single Bedroom Suite | Total: 8 | Level 3
Couples or parents with tots, this Deluxe suite will be awesome for you. Comes with a living area separate away from the bedroom, suites liked this calls for a weekend getaway soon! Each layout in CSC@Changi is uniquely designed to cater to different needs of their guests. Yes! you might just need a retreat within your cosy little family of 2 or 3, this single suite has just about everything you might need away from home – kids wet outdoor playground, jacuzzi pool and lapping pool which is less swamped during weekdays and before this piece of gem gets shared!

The difference; apart from the high level is that Superior Suites comes with 2 super single beds while Deluxe Suites have a king-sized bed. Depends on your preferences or occasions, booking the rooms online together with BBQ pits are subject to availability. Great thing is that in advance you can request to get that breathtaking coastline view which ever suites you chose. Don’t miss the amazing sunsets and catch those speed boats disappearing into the mangroves from your rooms!
