The World of Pororo Park Singapore!

Good news to the young fans of Disney Junior Channel and Okto Channel from Singapore – the widely popular animated character Pororo the Little Penguin has made it to our shores on 7 November! Opening its gate to local media as a pre-opening experience before its official launch of the first character-themed indoor playground Pororo Park Singapore come 11 November 2015!

Long awaited fans can finally dive into this adorable South Korea Character’s theme park right at our very own Marina Square Mall; without having to travel overseas to meet the little penguin and his beloved friends; Crong the Dinosaur, Eddy the Fox, Petty the Penguin, Loopy the Beaver and Poby the Polar Bear.

Excited as we were, along with the other medias and their families, our eyes were racing with amazement looking at the interior of the vast and fun-filled theme park situated in the new retail wing at level 2.

With attractions of a theme ride, indoor playground, educational classes and a theatre for the musical shows, Pororo-Themed Indoor Playground occupied 11,000 square feet, and it can accommodate up to a maximum of 650pax. Pororo Park Singapore will be the first in Southeast Asia, and the largest character-themed indoor playground in Singapore, adding on to the collection of 7 theme parks in Korea and 3 in China.

Pororo Express: The train ride is suitable for children who can sit independently and it is the iconic centerpiece when you entered the park. Our little ones were thrilled over this joy ride as it explored through the snowy village of Porong Porong Forest!

Pororo House: Parents can role play with their children at this replica of Pororo’s house.

Crong’s Backyard: this play area with the gorgeous full-length glass is an extension to Pororo House. With play mat equipped for crawlers or little walkers, it is suitable for aged 1-3 years old.

Shark Ball Pool: An all-time favourite with toddlers. We had our kid tested on the white and blue pearls in the pool – quality assured.

Poby’s Jungle Gym: Young adventures will have a good time at this indoor gym where they get to climb, exercise their reflex and have a fun sliding down!

Eddy and Petty’s Rooms: consists of two classrooms cum party rooms, events such as holding character themed birthday parties, educational classes such as Petty’s Art Class and Eddy’s Science Class will also be held regularly to provide a holistic edutainment environment. Story telling classes conducted by instructors from MindChamps will also be held every Sunday from November 2015 to January 2016.

TongTong’s Little Theatre: Other than mini parades, character meet-and-greets, and sing-along shows featuring Pororo and friends at TongTong’s Little Theatre, there are also additional shows to be scheduled on weekends for little Pororo’s to enjoy a bountiful array of surprises up close with the characters!

After all the above activities, families can take a break at Loopy’s Café where they offer a varied menu for both adults and kids. Great news for parents – free Wi-Fi is available at the café while you stay connected and the kids enjoy their playtime! (Go on, and upload your photos of the day!) However, only outside food for babies below one year are allowed.

Rody’s Toy Store is an exclusive retail store that sells a variety of Pororo characters merchandise, ranging from toys, stationery to kid apparels and other souvenir items.

Pororo Park is designed to be family-friendly. Thus, it has facilities such as children restrooms and nursing room. There are shelf spaces available for shoes and a designated area for parking strollers. Just liked any other indoor playgrounds, do remember to bring along a pair of socks for yourself and your little ones to enter the park.
