Therefore, it will be evil of us not to share this with you on how much we adore our accommodation situated by the chic Puteri Habour, Johor’s Southern coastline – Hotel Jen was an unforgettable experience that not only delights the adults but even the young one. With the currency in our favour, the thoughts of scoring deals with every item at a half price of what we got in Singapore excites us senselessly. So, let’s bring you on a sneak peek to our arranged abode for this trip!
It’s not too difficult to locate Hotel Jen in Puteri Habour, Johor when you planned for a family trip to the new attraction in Sanrio Hello Kitty Town or even LegoLand Theme Park. Perched within The Little Red Cube building that also hosts the Malaysian home of Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Little Big Club, you need only take a few steps away to indulge in a luxury and relaxing stay after a long day at the theme parks.
We arrived at Hotel Jen – the new rebrand of Traders Hotel at Puteri Harbour, Johor is the tenth hotel to adopt the new Hotel Jen brand by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd. Bringing in a new “Jeneration” to cater to the guests who seek simple pleasures or easy efficiencies during their stay here.
Checking in was fuss free while we waited at their spacious contemporary designed lobby with curvy waves-liked deco which reminds us vividly of the gorgeous harbour view by the marina. If you are constant on the move, you are ensured of that fast-free WiFi everywhere you go in Puteri Habour as well as welcome drinks for a freshening up while waiting for your room cards. Of which we are perching into their Uber-luxe Deluxe twin room for the night! 
Comparable to 5 stars hotels in Singapore, you can get these comfy pillows, window-side couches and wide-spaced room for a good saving and use this money for a shop-cation at the nearby Johor Premium Outlets (20 mins away) or at the ZON Duty-free complex at Johor Bahru Town. If you are here with your little ones, of course, hopping by to Hello Kitty Town or The little Big Club is nearer than walking across Changi Airport terminals. Take 20 steps and you are there! It’s that near! (our approx.)
We’ve all heard about the mind-blowing rooftop Infinity pools with the out-of-the-world awesome view … but to be facing a vast view of the coastline with the marina wind at your face. That is something we wish to share with you!

Meanwhile, if you are planning a trip down anytime soon, Puteri Harbour (Nusajaya) is situated 35 minutes away from Johor Bahru city, 30 minutes from Johor Premium Outlets, 25 minutes away from Singapore and 5 minutes away from Legoland Malaysia. Get your ride there without even having to fly. Get on a bus, hire a car or even a ferry from Harbour Front Singapore. Though our suggestion is to take the buses to avoid the dreading jam on the coast way but hiring a car might be a preferred (if you have kids) hassle free transportation – which the hotel can book them for you if you decide to stay with them.
