The first-of-its-kind role playing indoor playground has recently opened as a franchise outlet to the preceding THE CITY at Liang Court. Providing pretend play experiences in realistic environments and scenarios for the younger ones, The CITY at i12 Katong is the 2nd outlet in Singapore! This is a perfect alternative to the little ones who didn’t have the chance to try out Kidzania in Sentosa, The City provides a more young kids friendly environment to explore and roam.
The environment and themes are designed for two to eight-year-olds. Being an interactive learning playground that recognizes the importance of high-quality role-play, young children can try out different adult roles and professions in a fun, safe environment.

Supermarket:
Real-life empty packages are laid exactly liked what you will see in a supermarket from mini push carts to a range of toy vegetables, recycled boxes of daily necessities – detergents, soaps, tissue boxes, and even a cash register machine! What’s more, you can grab some ” cash ” from the staff, using their pre-prepared shopping lists to do some shopping at this mini supermarket! 
Kids love doing their own shopping, so this is a great chance to teach them how to make their own decision on what they want and pay for it!
Scan, pack and repeat! There are recycled bags provided, so take this chance to educate them on saving the environment with your own bags when you shop!
Health clinic
Children who want to play doctor will enjoy our medical clinic facility. Oh yes, who wouldn’t love donning on that white uniform and saving little animals lives? 
Our future doctor wanna-be is helping that poor fellow with some injections. Hopefully, he gets it in the first time!
There are some empty boxes of medicines packed in the medical box! Let’s grab some panadol for that poor guy!
Café
The city café looks just like the real thing, but scaled to fit child-size measurements. Let the little ones make lunch or dinner for a day! Parents just take the seat and watched your little chef whip up a delicious meal for you! Ovens, fridge, cooking utensils, ingredients, pre-packed food are all available for use! 
Busy busy little bees cooking their signature dishes from all the selection of real-life inspire food. Such fun!
Who say only Chefs works in a cafe, take this chance to let them do the serving of food, and be the waiter of the day as well!
Oh no, drooling before the customers get to eat the pizza.
Nursery
A perfect place for children who want to role-play as parents. Let’s take the baby for a ride!
Post office
Let them learn about logistics and sending hand-written mails to all over the world. Once again, you may request for some stamps from their staff and doodle your own letters and post it into the “citymail“. Postman’s outfit are available for use!
The heroes
Got a Super hero fan at home? Bring him here and donned his Super hero costumes – Superman, Spiderman or even Captain America, and knock down those giant construction blocks! Then again, guide them to build their own hero castles and explore their fantasies through playing with the blocks. For younger ones, The City’s friendly staff will always be around to look after them if you need a breather by the parents corner.
Classroom
Small tables and chairs all laid out in this room, your children can take their initiative to learn what they want, whether using the alphabet blocks, number blocks or letter games, they get to enjoy some educational games here. In the Classroom, other than learning, your junior can also practice being a Teacher for a day!
Beauty salon
Get ready to be the designer and explore the salon in a new way. Parents, get ready your cameras!
Road, traffic police
Similar to real life, The City has a road with police and traffic signs. Children get to drive a car, play policeman/policewoman, learn about traffic rules and signs and develop safety awareness for crossing the roads! Importantly they also get to share when the outlets are packed with other kids on peak periods. Occasionally, do expect preschools to gather in the morning or early noon from around the marine parade area, so do give a call to check before coming!
Fire Station
Hear someone shouting for fire? Hurry, put on that fireman costume and save the town!
Overall, all of the activities at The City allow kids to explore and play independently, however, parents too can participate in this part of the learning and educational fun process.
Don’t forget to check out the daily learning development activities on various subjects of interest to children, along with monthly playtime-educational themes.
