To think we have enough kids indoor playgrounds scattered around Singapore, right in the central, tucked away in the building of Safra along Carpenter street we found out that Aquarius Cove is an intimate play area suitable for any type of kids parties and mini friend gatherings with little crawlers or walkers.
Saunter past the restaurant Qian Xi with a banquet of tables position at the entrance when you entered the building, take the left lift on the right of the slightly unused feast hall (we went on the weekday afternoons), and head straight up to level 5. What will greet you will be the walkway and shoe cabinets to the indoor playground – Aquarius Cove.
UNDERWATER THEME
The entire carpeted area is different from any other indoor playground we been to, it was colourfully decorated with adorable underwater creatures such as dolphins and seahorse. Rather than role-playing features around, this underwater themed playland focus on active play offering an aquarium vibe with a special giant rocking ship harboured by the entrance.
By the entrance door, kids get to ride on underwater creatures rocker and see-saws. Next to these, tucked on the right corner are the main play area. A long tunnel posed right up above, was shaped liked a submarine where children can crawl across and have fun “underwater”.
There is also a wide open observative deck at the end of the tunnel, so remember to say hello the the little sailors!
There is also a slide that leads to the ball pit within the play area. The best part is the kids get to slide down in to a deep pit of balls and a “rock” climbing wall!
And be careful not to get lost in the multifold of colour balls in the deep ball pit, great for those who love jumping in to the pool from the wall.
Entire play area shaped liked a ship, adults are welcome to join in with the little ones but do take note on some of the rules posted – some of the features are not meant for adults to play so do read before venturing further!

There are a few ways up to the slide and our little one didn’t take much steps to reach the top. Height was rightly perfect for even toddlers. We fell in loved with the place gradually especially our little one as he need not fight his way around with some other larger kids liked those we went in the town area. He literally had the whole area to himself! So if you are looking for a place to have some peace, Aquarius Cove will be your dig for the weekdays!
And if he was slightly older, we’re sure he would have enjoyed the climbing wall as well, right beside the ball pit, maybe that’s the reason why it was a deeper ball pool than the usual we see around.
Moving away from the ball pit, slide and tunnel, there was an automated merry-go-round, hamster roll feature and the oh-so-giant auto-rocking ship!
It took our little one a while to TRY and have his ride on the automated merry-go-round. And man, he was on it liked an ivy!
Tumbling around in the hamster roll feature seems to be a great enjoyment too! Looking liked a washing machine, isn’t it?
To the other corner, there is the spacious space & area for parties, and we were truly tempted by their affordable party packages rates, you can get to know more here. Chairs, tables and parties amenities are available as seen in the picture we taken below!
On occasions when there are no parties, parents are able to use this area as resting area to check out the little ones from the tv monitors.
Grab some snacks and drinks if the kids are hungry, as weekdays playtime are unlimited though they has a non-re-entry rule so make good use of your time there.
While benches and tables by the corridor are available too, if the crowd gets too big.
Even though toilets are not available on the same level, you can access to level 4 by the side stairway or take the lift down. However, nursing mums can make good use of their nursing room with a changing table and chairs within the playground itself.
Thinking of a venue to host birthdays and mummies gatherings, Aquarius Cove is sure to be on our lists despite the parking might be a little hassle as the building doesn’t have their car park slots. We loved the tranquil environment, and how everything seems to be more intimate for smaller gatherings without having to find space just to put our stuff down and play with our children.
