Villa in the West: HomeTeamNS Premier Deluxe Villa!

We love nothing more than having playdates with our friends and their little ones. Whether it’s going to each other’s house, exploring new indoor playgrounds or just having meals together at kid-friendly restaurants, it all about spending time together. Talks of going on short trips have been procrastinating for a while as we can’t find a suitable venue until we got contacted by HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok about their recent newly revamped Premier Deluxe Villa, we decided to garner a last-minute playdate plus BBQ night!

Barely knowing what to expect (because we stay in the EAST), we are really excited about what’s waiting for us in the west!

Nestled near the premises of the HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok Clubhouse, the villas are located at the area beside the Adventure Centre. There’s a pathway that led the guests to the main clubhouse which takes a 5-7mins walk over.

The revamped premier deluxe villa has been launched for booking since the beginning of the year from January. Bringing back the tradition & localized way of staycay, gathering, and barbeque under one roof.

Last month this time, avoiding the crowd bookings of weekends, we check-in to HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok Premier Deluxe Villa on a weekday.

PREMIER DELUXE VILLA

Immense in the sanctuary of comfort and bevy of activities, the revamped Villa is a two storey building. Surrounded by greenery, the environment was quiet and peaceful, unlike other chalets or resorts we have seen around, we enjoyed the tranquility it brings. In total, there were three types of villas to chose from – Premier Deluxe Villa, Deluxe Villa, and Superior Villa.

With only the Premier Deluxe Villa provides complimentary in-room services such as Games Console & Board Games for the guests.

GROUND LEVEL – LARGE LIVING AREA & SHELTERED BBQ PIT

On the lower level, it came with an air-conditioned & comfortable living area furnished with leather sofas and an LCD TV. The BBQ pit was perched by the sheltered porch, separated by full glass sliding doors. We spent most of our daytime having our meals inside and trying out different games from the PS4 and board games although none of the games lasted more than 5 mins because the kids were running around. 

The weather was great so we also brought them out into the sun and enjoyed some fresh air by the outdoor playground!

The living area also comes with a comfortable size fridge huge enough to store all our uncooked food for 10 over pax! We found a microwave, electric water boiler and an induction cooker for steamboat, however similar to those traditional chalets there wasn’t any kitchen utensils liked scissors, tongs, knives, and cutleries. So, do remember to pack your utensils along before the trip but even if you forget any essentials, there’s no worry as you can still get from them from the nearby NTUC supermarket located at the HomeTeamNS clubhouse.

Just a 5-7mins away for all the essentials you need for a BBQ or Steamboat night with your pals! 

As usual, the guys were the ones who managed the “kitchen” throughout the day and night! Mummies and the kids were enjoying ourselves in the living room area!

SECOND LEVEL – LIVING AREA & TWO BEDROOMS

Taking the stairs up to the premier deluxe villa, we saw another large area great for hanging out and camping around the LCD tv & games console. On this level, there were two bedrooms which one comes with 1 King-sized bed and another twin bed.

Both rooms have its own private balcony and shared one common bathroom with bath towels provided. For more guest’s convenience, the second bathroom is located on the ground floor.

All of us enjoyed the entire space for gathering, having fun with the PS4, wrapping our popiahs, and feeding on the well-cooked bbq, while our kids had their bubble time and taking turns at the outdoor playground of swings & see-saw.

HomeTeamNS Clubhouse

The next day, we took a quick stroll over to the clubhouse to check out on the various activities and restaurants available. We found out the benefits of being a HomeTeamNS member you get to enjoy the member’s lounge on the second level close to the life located under the information counter. It provides a quieter resting area with sofas for the members with tv screenings from 10am to 10pm daily.

There were a few variations of restaurants and cafes located on the first level such as Ah Huat, KFC, I AM(halal), Mooks (Thai bistro), and Milk & Bistro. To cater to a larger group or looking for some Chinese food options, there is also Qi Xian restaurant group on the second level.

The highlights of the HomeTeamNS clubhouse are actually the number of activities to check out on the different levels of the building – PartyWorld, StarBowl, LaserQuest, Fitness Gym, as well as a Dance studio etc etc. Outdoors activities consists of adventure center, challenge cubes, golf driving range, and swimming pool!

Bowling is so cheap here at HomeTeamNS!

As parents, we dived straight to the level where the highly raved playground in the west, T-Play (Kids Indoor Playground) is located at, is the first augmented playground introduced in HomeTeamNS, and one of the most interactive transportation themed playgrounds in Singapore.

Housed in a 4,200 square foot facility at HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok, the specially crafted kid-friendly arena consists of spectacular designs and interactive play centers. The boys had their hours of fun crawling through tunnels (height suitable for adults), jumping on trampolines, and racing down slides without having much of a crowd to squeeze with. Overall Conclusion

It may be a short “holiday” but we managed two aims under one stay –  a great bonding time with our friends on the first day and sweet family time on the second day. It isn’t usually of us to travel all the way to the west but it was worthwhile stepping out of our comfort zone in the east to find out new places in the far west with our boys -and they had no complains at all!
