Fun never stops at The Polliwogs… kids are familiarly seen going berserk at their every outlet with accompanied parents tugged themselves at the lounge area spying with their eagle eyes while digging in the left-over snacks the kids left behind before running back into the tunnels or slides. Right after the new opening of Eastpoint mall outlet (read our review <—!), The Polliwogs expanded its mini kingdom back to the central again after it closed down their Robinson Quay and ECP outlet!
Officially opened TOMORROW on 1st December, this whole new concept differs from the usual Polliwogs’ experience. Located right beside the Furama RiverFront Hotel, you may find it straight from the lift on the 5th level of the Annex building @ Furama on Havelock road!
The NEW outlet features an entire Safari jungle themed called WAKA WAKA by The Polliwogs which welcomes children of all ages from toddlers to 5yrs – 14yrs old to enjoy the new installations that continue the experience of FUN, PLAY, AND SKILLS development! So follow us today as we ventured into the wildly fun jungle for some serious fun play!
Designed to promote confidence in kids (maybe older ones) and motor skills (younger ones), parents can expect exciting features as seen below!
1. GIANT WAVES SLIDES & BOUNCY CASTLE & BRICKS HOUSE (JUNIOR AREA)
Separated into 2 areas, one you may find the giant Bouncy castle with mini obstacles to challenge the really young ones in a safe environment, another you will find the “giant” wave slide beside the Brick houses where you can build your little home with light-weight bricks! Plenty of motor skills developing wall games available here for the juniors to enjoy!
2. VOLCANO ROPING & SLIDES
May seems difficult to reach to the top, but with help from the rock steps and some encouragement (or a gentle push from the parents), kids will love climbing this volcano roping over and over again together with the thrill of sliding down from the top of the Volcano! Suitable for 3years and above, although our toddler (2years plus) doesn’t seem to give up after many tries! (he’s on the rope at the right side of the image.)
Well, an indoor playground must have – SLIDES AND MORE SLIDES! Don’t forget about the exciting slides you can find here! We had our thrill of coming down from one! (Grandpa enjoying the slide with our little one!)
There were another that become of one our little one’s favourite – the Bouncy slide! Can you see how chill he was? 
Colour changing water bed! we love this as much!
3. OBSTACLE ROPE COURSE (PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO TRY!)
Of course, the kids will fight with you over who’s going up first! Before you head over to suit up, you need to go to the counter to purchase your “tickets/coupons” for a slot up there ! Prices can be found at the end of the article! For this rope course, the price comes at $8 per child, only applicable for 4 years and above. Any accompanying parents you need to pay another $2!
4. THREE THEMED WALL-CLIMBING (2M) & TOTEM CHALLENGE
Kids get their coordinating skills build-up with the three themed wall climbing, and boy it does looks fun! Depends on your kid’s comfort, they can either chose the wall with “assist” bars and handles, ladders or go without. A great opportunity to train them before you bring them to the real ones at Sportshub! A time machine will be recording the amount of time they take to reach the top, so hurry hit the button! Per child at $6.
Fancy to try the Totem? Slowly build your courage before you attempt one! Cost at $6 per child. But if they decide to try all 3 of the rope obstacles, there is a discount price of $16!
5. DEDICATED PERFORMANCE AREA
(WEEKLY SHOWS FROM POLLIWOGS CHARACTERS) Prizes to be won! Check with the staff the specific timings when you are there!
6. SAFARI-THEMED PARTY FUNCTION ROOMS
Located deep within the premises, you will find a slope that leads to their Safari themed party function rooms, for the packages available for birthdays or functions, you may stay tuned to the WAKA WAKA facebook fan page for more details!
Restrooms and Nursing room are available beside the party rooms!
7. PARENTS CHILLAX AREA
Parents and Children, don’t forget to have your meals while having fun! WAKA WAKA offers a wide range of food, desserts and snacks for adults and kids! We took an image of the menu from Larry’s cafe as seen below. Definitely, a great place for parents to keep an eye on the little ones and enjoy the free WIFI available at the parents Chillax area!
Today, we were given a few tokens to redeem our drinks and snacks! Kind of reminded us of Kidzania Singapore but in a Polliwogs way~
