Get in touch with your inner child as we enter a magical garden where different worlds of wonder unfold! Be enchanted by music inspired by the colourful worlds of Wizardry, Magic, Cosmic Space, Ocean, Adventure and Dinosaurs.
Produced in conjunction with the Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay, this whimsical edition of Garden Rhapsody features special renditions of songs from movies like The Little Mermaid and Pinocchio, by local artists Benjamin and Narelle Kheng of The Sam Willows as well as Caitanya Tan. Even the colourful dinosaurs on display at the Supertree Grove as part of the Children’s Festival will be getting into the act with their flashing LED lights!

The earth shuddered. Trees shook, dropping leaves on the tidy nest below. The nest belonged to an iguanodon. As the eggs rolled around, their mother teadied them with a claw. ‘What on earth?’ she wondered. Find out how The Earthshaker story continues at the storytelling sessions! -

Have fun at the free waterplay areas with additional activities like the Fishing Pond, Shoot the Dinosaur Game, and Feed the Dinosaur Game.

Have fun with rainbow colours and get creative with crafts like Keychain Shrinking and Pipe Cleaner Sculptures using the simplest of materials.

The Carnival ground holds much excitement for both young and old. Have fun for free play at Bouncing Castle. Charges of $2.5 per token apply. Fun rides includes: Walking Dinosaur Ride, Drum Walker, Trackless Train, Royal Horse, Carousel Flying, Carpet Bumper Boat, 3 player bungee, Chasing Cars and Ferris Wheel.

Grab your picnic mats and come down to Gardens by the Bay for a splendid end to the weekend! As part of SPH’s Gift of Music series, the SSO, headed by Associate Conductor Joshua Tan, will perform classic tunes such as Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture as well as music from Jurassic Park and The Force Awakens by legendary composer John Williams.

THE LOST COLOURS OF THE WORLD PERFORMANCE | Every Sat & Sun | 430pm, 630pm | SuperTree Grove |
Brachy the blue brachosaurus wakes up one day to find that all the colours in the world have suddenly disappeared. The world is dull and colourless, and Brachy begins to feel sad and alarmed. He decides to get some help from the wisest and oldest dinosaur in the land, who reveals that there is a way to bring colours back – by finding seven coloured eggs buried all throughout the Dye-Nosaur Gardens.

This musical dance performance follows the journey of a little ” white ” dinosaur and how she discovers the beautiful colours of the world she lives in. It incorporates the waterplay feature of the Children’s Garden, revealing the wonder, fun and magic of colours!

WRITER IN THE GARDENS WORKSHOP – MAGICAL CREATURES, MEMORABLE CHARACTERS | 2 Apr | 3pm | Cannonball room, SuperTree Grove |
Parents, bring your child for a fun-filled creative writing workshop by award-winning children’s book author Emily Lim. During this workshop, see your child’s imagination take flight as they create their very own magical story characters! There will also be an accompanying art and craft session with illustrator Patrick Yee and an interesting sharing by guest author Melanie Lee, author of Squirky the Alien. This workshop is supported by the NAC under the Writer-in-the-Gardens Residency Scheme.
