Swissotel Merchant Court’s “Family Fun Escape” Kid’s Theme Room!

It’s more than luxury, it’s more than just a hotel stay, we experienced an ultimate kid’s fun all day staycation in heart of our city. Located right beside Clark Quay MRT and alongside shopping malls such as The Central Shopping mall and Liang Court, that provides plenty of shopping opportunities around the area (though you may not need it at all during your stay here).

Upon arrival, our little ones were given the signature Swiss mini mascot toy, which made them more excited to what we are to expect from the rooms!

KIDS THEME ROOM

To made the kids feel right at home, one of our interconnecting room was transformed into a Swissôtel Kids Room!

There was WOW factor in every corner screaming COME AND PLAY, with Swissotel setting a high standard in their kid’s theme room we highly agreed with the little ones that this had instantly become one of their favorite staycation ever!

As we stepped into the perfectly decorated room with age-appropriate toys and books available on the kid’s sized writing desks and chairs, we found out that the room has been splashed with fun colors of adorable themed bedding and colorful clothing hangers in the wardrobe!

We had stacking blocks, scrabble, coloring materials and pretend play toys (vegetables, fruits and etc) for our little ones.

Many new friends will be accompanying the kids for the night!

And we also discovered that there were sets of children cutlery with Swiss brand Hot cocoa mix for some warm cozy up before bedtime. Smitten much with the Swiss hospitality here!

To have the kids entertained further, we were impressed that there were even entertainment options including Xbox, Wii games, DVD players, DVD movies and kids’ channels on cable TV! Seriously, we don’t have reasons to leave the room at all! The boys went straight ahead with the games!

While the boys were racing cars, I went over to check out the bathroom!

Filled with child-friendly amenities such as a step stool, kid-friendly toothpaste & bath amenities, vibrant colored plastic tumblers, bath toys were also provided. Not only impressing the young ones, their child- friendly bathroom came as a well-decorated and specially curated one! Better yet, both rooms came with bath tubs, so time for some bubble bath!

What really stepped up to the coolness of this all was Swissotel’s effort in providing kids-sized towels unliked any we experienced before!

Additionally, our little pampering moment when our room service crew came with a tray of these gems! A sincerely hand-written card, juice, fresh fruits, and savory chocolates! Oh boy, how lovely are these chocolates, especially the green Matcha one, melted straight into our heart at the first bite!

Next up, Daddy’s Favorite corner! TIME to pop the colorful capsules into the Nespresso machine, listening to the freshly brewed coffee oozing out into the cup made our day even more complete!

FAMILY ROOM

To cater to families with kids, parents get 50% off the second room booked! Unlike the Kids room, the parent’s room come with a vibrant floral decorated wall, intelligent design and local flair inspired by Singapore’s garden city vibe.
