Want to break free from the usual kids-friendly hangouts places and try for something more thematic liked sports related or football inspired? In an effort to introduce a healthier lifestyle for you, we have recently visited a family-loving establishment newly opened in the heart of Singapore.
THE ARENA SG
Nestled among the luxurious greenery in Woodleigh Park, we found a newly opened stylish sports park offering a wide variety of sports and fitness facilities for all ages.
Well-known by football fans of Cafe Football from Old Trafford (UK), Cafe Football Singapore is the first franchise in Asia located in THE ARENA is partly owned by Manchester United greats Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, who were previously in town to grace the official launch in April!
The football-themed restaurant brought together with Arena Fitness and Arena Football at The Arena, conceptualised by two passionate football supporters and partners, Simon Tan and Derrick Goh.
Spanning across 200,000 square feet of floor area, the family-oriented sports park aims to promote a healthier lifestyle among families who also shares the same passion for food and sports especially – Football. Offering a wide variety of sports and fitness activities for all ages, this is the perfect location to gather, get fit and dine together.
Their plethora of programs includes Football, Muay Thai (yes you hear us right, for kids as well!), Aerial Yoga, Dance and Functional Fitness! There will also be an indoor rock wall which will be ready by July this year, featuring two augmented climbing walls!
CAFE FOOTBALL SINGAPORE
To complete the experience of being a one-stop fitness destination, there is a full-fledged restaurant Cafe Football Singapore in The Arena. It is decorated with leather sofas for guests to soak in a homely and lay back ambience while you indulge in a scrumptious meal after a workout or two.
A unique restaurant that feeds a love for food and football, you will appreciate a diverse, well-rounded menu with some subtle nods to the beautiful game. 
We’re super impressed by the nifty thoughts presented all over the welcome area of THE ARENA when we stepped into the main reception area. Walls were decorated with football-inspired thematic designs, even to the extent of replicating a football club’s dressing room. There are many exhibitions football collections on displays, including autographed ones! Even the stellar red brick wall of the stadium stand is replicated.
Sofas with soft pillows are seen dotted around the reception area with Cafe Football Singapore located at both sides of the reception area, where it splits into the East Stand main dining, bar and bistro area and West Stand for more corporate meetup corner. 
Whether you are here for a workout or just to buy time waiting for your kids to finish their football training with the JSSL academy or Real Madrid Football School whom regularly hold classes at the Football pitch, Cafe Football Singapore is the best spot to chill or feast on. Putting their main focus in offering quality menu for all, kids are more than welcome to join in despite having a bar area and darts machine available in the restaurant. 
We enjoyed a mouth-watering tasting session and had exceptionally enjoyed the signature Referee Chocolate Cake. Below are some of their must-try dishes we highly recommend!

Kids are welcome to request for free sweets from the chefs or the friendly staff there might even bring a handful over to your table!
For sharing: Team Mates Platter that includes chicken wing, satay skewers, tempura prawns and corn chips at $18. Top it up with a pint of draught beer to complete the finger licking good sensation!
For Healthier choice: Line Up Salmon comes with a succulent salmon sprinkled with lychee salsa, mixed green salad, sweet cherry tomatoes and topped with house dressing, for just $18. We paired this dish a glass of chilled orange juice.
For Local twist: Crayfish Hor Fun a perfect wok-fried kway teow with a generous serving of crayfish, prawn, squid and drizzled over with superior tasty egg sauce at $18.
Speciality: Desserts for the sweet tooth – Referee Chocolate Cake at $9. Can we have another serving, please?
In conjunction with Mother’s Day this week, The Arena and Cafe Football Singapore will be offering a special promotion for families! THE ARENA FITNESS
Apart from getting your fitness class booking online, THE ARENA has pushed out an app – THE ARENA SINGAPORE APP allows users to plan their fitness regime conveniently. Programs are split among four studios – ARENA FLYWITH FITNESS, MMA, WAREHOUSE DANCE FITNESS, AND DUNGEON FUNCTIONAL FITNESS. 
Want a more height-seeking activity, be anticipated as there will be a new launch in July for the ARENA EXTREME with indoor rock-climbing sessions for both adults and kids, including the interactive augmented wall!
Other activities that are suitable for the strength building includes ARENA MMA (For Muay Thai and MMA lovers).
